Wedded Bliss

Last Friday Nicole and I spent a thoroughly enjoyable day at Solomon’s in Tonbridge wells, Kent at the wedding of our friends Steve and Tanith.

We had a fantastic day with plenty of good food and booze.
I was even seen cutting a rug with the best of them in between beer breaks.

Tanith look beautiful in her dress and Steve was a stunning antipodean hunk in his groom’s ware. (Aussie Steve, made an appearance towards the end of the evening)

I’m sure all that know them will agree they are a smashing couple and will join me in wishing them all the best for there future together.

Hurrah…

Beth Lucy Stringer

Ladies and gentlemen can I bid a warm welcome to the beautiful new addition to Thanet’s baby boom.
Miss Beth Lucy Stringer.
Beth was born at 09:38am on the 16th July at QEQM in Margate.

Nicole will be visiting Parker and Beth in hospital tonight and I am going to see them tomorrow.

As you can see from the photo posted on captaindog.blogspot.com she is a beautiful little thing and I am impressed that Stringer has introduced her to hair gel at such a young age.

God Bless her.

Wasabi Peas the new roasted Peanuts

My friend Stringer has started a new job back in the city much to my delight, as my favourite beer snack the legendry Wasabi pea is running into short supply in my household and he is the only one brave enough to fight through the city boy crowd to get me some more.

If you have not tried the mighty snack then I can highly recommend them washed down with plenty of real ale and a side of Biltong.

Please make some comments on this blog with you recommendations of tasty beer snacks and views on the Wasabi pea. You never know if there is enough interest I may start up a Wasabi pea appreciation society with regular meeting in our local pub the Monty.

Yar Yar Wasabi Peas…
